Do you have church on Christmas day? - Page 2

We are going tomorrow morning. Our church is always packed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

I've been thinking about what Cookie said.  I even saw an article in the Washington Post on this.  I wasn't about to miss church on Christmas - M was so excited to sing with the other children, plus I was excited to get my brother to come with us.  I think he generally avoids visiting on a Sunday so I don't make him go!

There were a lot of people there, which surprised me, and I think it surprised them, too, because they had to set up extra chairs just before the meeting started.  I thought there'd be lots of people out of town, but I guess there were lots of visitors to make up for it.

My church was not going to have a service but everyone was invited to a sister church.  Well, a few people were upset about that so the pastor was supposed to have a small church gathering at their house in the morning.  I didn't go to that one.

My mom's church, however, had church service at their church.  I figured that hardly anyone would show up and I am really sure everyone who goes there was there.  I was so happy I decided to get ready and go.  It was great to begin the day celebrating Jesus birth with other friends from the church.
