If you're going to be participating in FTJ this year, this question will help you in a future assignment.  Quick!  Answer the following question without thinking too much: 

 

My life would be happier, more fulfilling and more peaceful if ____________________.  

Write down as many answers as you want.  Aim for at least 5.

 

MIne:

My house were neater.

My kids argued less.

I got together with friends more often.

I spent more quality time alone with dh.

I spent more time cultivating my own interests and hobbies.

we had a set daily routine

we spent less time on the computer/Wii/DS

the boys would not fight all the time

I had more patience with the boys

I didn't procrastinate my homework

Mine would be:

I had a hobby I enjoyed.

I had a few activities that I could share with Dh.

I had an outside continuous activity with a friend (like walking/yoga)

I didn't take things so personally.

I learned to let things go.

1. If I got rid of a bunch of junk.
2. Installed a fence between us and our back neighbor.
3. Reorganize my laudary room.
4. Got off line a bit.

I could get a handle on all of the clutter (school papers, toys, too much laundry)

I could find time to myself (to do my hobby or spend time with friends)

we had enuf money to cover all the bills, and still had some for the fun stuff

I could get the yard the way I want it

~ We bought a house in a neighborhood where we were accepted and could make friends

 

~ I was actively volunteering at DD's school and/or in the community

 

~ We regularly lived within our income and were meeting our savings / investment goals

 

~ We had regular, predictable time together as a family - either enjoying entertainment, enjoying hobbies or doing household projects

 

~ We were working together to meet our short-term family and individual goals.

We had no debt

i did not ave to deal with allergy related issues.
