Forget the Joneses Day 1: Create a "Bucket List" - Page 2

Pretty interesting what is no longer important

This is year #4 of making a goal list

2008 home projects don't make any since because we moved in 2009

2008 crosses off 25 of the goals

2009 list 21 goals achieved

2011list has 13 goals achieved

Its nice to see a few of those big dreams crossed off.  We still have Baby number 3 on the list but Number 2 just turned one.

This is a common mistake!  I have found that in past years, my lists have been more like that too.  This year I'm trying to envision the type of person I want to be at the end of the year, as well as the vision I have for my family and life in general.  It's more about ways to "be" than things to do.

Cool!  And thanks for the link, too.  It will give me something to go by, even if I end up making my own form.  :)

You're welcome!  It's definitely not meant for everyone, but rather just a guide.  People may have different categories or different things they want to focus on.

I reviewed my list from last year.  There are lots of goals on there I forgot about and I am excited about again. While I didn't accomplish as many as I wish, and a lot of mine are ongoing, there are a few things I did accomplish.

go to Hong Kong

learn embroidery stitches

take care of my parents' yearbooks

read 2 books/month

don't worry about the mess

try one new recipe/week

do home preschool

There isn't much I want to just flat out delete from my list.

I did this last week and forgot to post that I did. :D  It felt really hard for some reason.
