When I hear the phase clean eating, I think it to mean no processed foods, no preservatives, no artificial flavors or coloring. I have not yet been able to bring myself to just eat clean. I am sure it would help me a lot, but there are some things I just feel I can't live without, like oreos. Now that I am not working full time though I really have been doing better, I have been baking more and making more from scratch, so I guess I am eating cleaner. I should just find recipes that I can make my own versions of the things that I like.

Everything I've read about clean eating is that it's raw food, nothing processed, and finding as much organic as you can. One sight I have visited uses a dehydrator to "cook" some things because they want everything slow cooked, no higher than 115°. I can do a mostly clean diet, but I don't want to do it completely like that.

I think of the raw diet when I hear clean eating.
I don't know if I could eat that way, I would love to but sometimes that Strawberry & Creme Frap from Starbucks calls my name way too loud (especially considering that I walk by a Starbucks twice a day Monday through Friday! I have yet to cave for 2 weeks so far!).

To me, 100% clean eating is absolutely no processed foods, no trans fats, no corn syrup, no refined sugar or white flour, and high quality proteins, whole grains and produce. It doesn't have to be raw, but you need to pay attention to everything that goes in your mouth and it is quite a bit of work since most foods will be made from scratch. Everything you eat is as close to it's natural state as possible.
We eat about 80% clean.

I agree with this except we are just now starting our clean eating journey. So we are only about 20% although we are eating a lot more whole grains and fresh fruits and veggies.
