Its a cool idea. Go without power for an hour. It really made my morning go differently. Make you realize how much time playing with the electronics really takes.   Now to go and start my already loaded and ready to go dish washer

Agreed!  The times we have moved and haven't had TV/Internet for a couple days or when we've lost those due to power/storms, etc. I am always amazed at how productive I can be!  Going to try and keep the TV turned off at least two nights a week-maybe I can consolidate my housework and get it done fast, then have more time on the "off nights" to spend with my babies!

My biggest:  TV and getting lost surfing the internet.

Depending on the day it could be Internet, good book or catching up on the dvr.

I started something in November and it seems to be working. I give myself a certain amount of down time to do these fun things intermixed with periods where I mark thing off my list. That's the other thing I make a list on a piece of paper every morning and try to make sure they are all crossed of by 3 pm. It's working pretty well for me so far!

Since being transferred to our newest location I haven't had any down time, working 6 days a week, up to 12 hours a day.   The time I am off I'm either sleeping or washing clothes.  I have been spending more time on the internet than usual, just so I can feel like I am catching up with everyone.   I also spend alot of time sitting around talking to mom or playing with the baby, but I wouldn't call that time a waste.  That time is most important to me and the reasons why I am working so hard and so many hours.  Right now can't see any real time wasters, other than hours at work, but can't call that a waste cause I need the work.  LOL!

When I do have more time at home, I can get lost in my sewing room for hours, just seems like I haven't been in there in weeks.

Going for it but this will be a tough week as I have abnormal activities. I normally don't spend hours organizing but that is the plan
