We based my DD's party around the rainbow cake she wanted, and ended up doing pretty well. We only had 4 guests (so total of 5 kids) and held it at my house (so no "venue" charge). Here's what we created....
Cake = Total cost $5.98 (cake 2 mixes $1/each, bakery bought frosting $3.98, food coloring, sprinkles & candles on hand (Free))
Treat Bags = Total Cost $10.73 (2.68 per kid) (Bags $.40, Chalk $.97, Plastic Balloons $1.00, Crayons $.48, Watercolors $3.88, Erasers 4.00, Tablets = Free)
Activity = Total Cost $21.09 ($4.21 per kid) (Finger Paints $4.99, Canvas $14.70, plates $1.40) (I spent a bit more on the canvas so they could take home their art and use it in a picture frame if they chose) Picture 3 = cute appetizer plates that are shaped like an artist palate :) Great find!
Misc = Total $11.95 (Plates $1, Napkins $1, Tablecloth $1, Balloons $.97, Pizza $5.98, 7Up (2) $2.00, Rainbow Ice- Free)
(not my picture, I forgot to take one, found the idea here)
Overall Total Party Cost = $49.75 ![]()
