Soup!  I always have cans of beans and vegetable broth.  Add some rice, barley, or pasta and whatever veggies are wilting in the fridge and dinner is done!

stir fry with or without meat-I always have frozen veg and rice in the house. Could probably find leftover meat in the fridge.

breakfast for dinner

hot dogs with homemade fries

leftover stew-meaning throwing leftover rice, veg, meat, into broth (pair with homemade biscuits, toast, or crackers)

I don't think anyone has mentioned grilled cheese and tomato soup yet.

beenie weinies, ($4)

breakfast for dinner, (usually nothing unless we get sausage links $1)

ricearoni with ground beef in it, ($3)

chunky soup over rice ($4)

spaghetti no meat ( $3)

oatmeal (0, get it from wic and sweeten with whatever I have)

goulash (usually $3-5 depending on flair)

(my favorite) call my dad and tell him to plan for 5 more! LOL

 

I get wic so I always have eggs, rice, veggies, pb, bread, milk, cheese, and cereal on hand. Actually am down to just over 20 boxes of cereal and 3 boxes of rice right now.
