WAH Roll Call: Who works from home?

Hey Work-at-Home moms! Come check in here and tell us what you do!  Data entry? Sales?

(This is not the place for referrals - if you want to promote your business please use the Networking Forum.)

I'm down to just one work-at-home job right now, and that's Mommysavers. Best job ever!  Before we went to India, I was teaching piano, but I've decided not to pick that up again. I was also working for an online scrapbooking store, but that closed.

MS Pays? Do tell!

I'm just working merchandising jobs and mystery shops right now. I work a few hours once a week (on average). That pays approximately $100 a month. Right now these jobs are just paying for my gas to go house hunting.

Heck yes it pays...I save money all the time from MS members sharing their ideas, freebies, and discounts....not to mention the over $10 I recently saved from a sweet member mailing me some coupons!!

And I would love to have some work at home ideas.  If I could do just one that paid decent and keep a few kids, I would do that in a heartbeat. I don't get benefits here at work, anyhow, so I'd not be any worse off...but I'd save on gas, etc. by not driving each day.  Plus, I'd be able to do online classes with no problems!

Kim was hiring just a few months ago, too!

But I have to agree with BW6, I make a lot from SAVING here, too.

I forgot that I also get residual income from some articles I wrote.  The site is https://contributor.yahoo.com if anyone wants to try it.  It's legit.  I've decided to leave my money from that in my Paypal account and use it for something special - rather than just transferring it to checking where it goes to pay bills.

My understanding (not that I'm in the know that much) is that the administrator positions get paid. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

I do just a TINY bit of mystery shopping, but mostly I just get the merchandise (very small amt) and a very small amt of money. I do some research studies. I just completed one for fish oil that paid $40 per visit, but unfortunately I wasn't able to complete the whole trial as my triglycerides weren't high enough so only got $120 for it. I have gotten paid a small amt a very few times to do posting on a certain subject on my blog.

I don't consider ANY of those jobs though that I can count on or earn much. It's more just mad money whenever I do get it.

I am a copywriter for websites. I've worked for content mills and private clients on their websites and blogs. Like any job you get out what you put in. I can make $100 a month or $2000 a month. So my income varies with how things are going at home. I've recently started refinishing furniture and refashioning clothing and selling on Craigslist. Thinking of starting to sell the clothing on etsy or ebay. I work on my novels on the side and plan on building a residual income with kindle books. I have 6 manuscripts in various forms of finished levels.

Our admins get paid.  We posted this Help Wanted Ad in July and hired Bekah (Annie's Mom) as a blogger as a result.  Everyone I've hired has come directly from the forums.  :)

We hope to hire more help in the future if we see continued growth.

I work from home! I'm an online community moderator and if it's a site you hang out on and they have a community like this, you might check out any job listing links they have at the bottom of the page. I use to work for iVillage and now I'm working for JustAnswer. It's an awesome way to give back to a community that you love!

I found this site has some good opportunities if you search on 'moderator': http://www.simplyhired.com/a/simplyhired-home-page/home?gclid=CP2hm7ai3a8CFc6a7QodtSqv_A

I hope the rest of you find something you love!
