Using top of plastic bottle for easy, frugal rice storage - Page 2

I always kept my rice, flour, sugar, egg noodles, dry beans in glass gallon jars that I got at a restaurant  that I worked at.  It makes it nice to be able to see how low you are.  I would cut the directions of of any that I needed and just slip it into the jar on top.

I also use recycled jars for rice and couscous. Either I cut out the directions on the bag and tape it to the jar, or I write the directions on an all purpose label and put that on the jar.

Since I buy rice in large bags from Costco, I keep them in the garage freezer and refill the pantry jars as needed.
