What is your system for matching missing socks? (photos) - Page 2

I don't match them!!  I'll take a pic and post it later today, but each person in my family has a lingerie bag hanging on a hook on my laundry room wall.  As I fold clothes, if a sock comes out, it goes in the person's bag.  Then THEY go get socks out of their bag each morning.  It has helped my stress level tremendously!  LOL  I DETEST matching socks!!

I have a very small basket in our living room where I fold the clothes.  Each time I have an extra sock I check to see of there is a mate.  It is pretty easy.  I rarely have socks in there for long.  I am so glad I don't have young girls right now because I hate mis matched socks.

Yes!  I meant to last week!  I'll go home and take pictures this evening. 

I have used those bags to wash the socks in, I put the socks right in those bags after they take them off.  I mainly do it for the kids because their socks are so small and I am constantly losing their socks.  Reminds me I need to get a new bag because I fell of the bandwagon using it and don't know where the bag went.  I have gotten to the point where I put socks together that don't match exactly.  There is a company called Little Mismatch, so I make my own mismatched socks.

Nobody else cares to match socks except for me. So I match my own and put a single on my dresser until the match turns up. For hubby and the kids I just toss their socks on their pile of folded clothes for them to put away. If they want a matching pair they'll match them themselves.

that is our house too!  bless mini dd, she hardly has any socks that match and she just goes with it!  

I try to buy the same kind of socks (eg. white low-cut socks for the girls), so we won't have as much of a problem with this.  However, the girls still have cute colorful socks that disappear, so when a mateless sock comes out of the dryer, I put it in a bag.  When the mate appears, then it's matched; if it never does, it's eventually tossed.
