Do you dilute it?

I don't.

yeah, about half and half and I add tea tree oil to it.

Yes. I keep a spray bottle with half vinegar, half water with my cleaning supplies and use it whenever appropriate. I don't know that I HAVE to dilute it, but the vinegar smell isn't as strong, and it dissipates much faster with the water.

Vinegar is already a very weak acid - pH 4-5. And the nastiest germs (especially viruses and food-borne pathogens) can live in that acid level so I definitely wouldn't dilute it. To counter-act the smell, I'd mix it with a little lemon or lime juice (lime juice is the most acidic). That way you keep the acid level but don't get the stickiness of pure citrus juice.

I'm trying a new cleaning solution.  I've got a quart jar of of vinegar sitting on the counter.  I've had everyone put their orange peels in there this week.  I'm going to strain it, and put it in a spray bottle and see how it works.  I'll keep you posted.

I tried that. I just took the orange peels out today and I LOVE it! It hardly smells like vinegar at all.  That's why I was wondering if I'm supposed to dilute it or not. I didn't.

I think the recipe called for dilution, but I'm not sure I want to dilute it either.  Maybe I'll try something with and without water.
