For awhile I was keeping all of my purses up in a container at the top of my closet. That works when you don't change them out often and you don't mind getting in a stepladder to get them down
I recently read on BHG.com to use shower hooks to organize handbags...Unique huh?
Sure why not give it a try!
I hit the local Dollar Tree for some shower rings and got to work...
This is the space I don't utilize in my closet- an entire second shelf (I cut the first half out of the picture) I could hang items from (but then I can't see my shoes...and we can't have that!)

So I hung my purses on my hooks- all except 2- One I am currently using, and the one I am getting ready to switch into (I have an extra ring left for it!)

I can still get to my shoes- the ones on that shelf are off season and dress so they're not used too often. I did gain all that space back at the top the container used to take up, but the space down here is limited...if I add more purses I might have to start using the "for every one you acquire, get rid of one method"
