How often do you do family pictures?

Do you have pictures taken professionally on a regular basis?  What about just taking snapshots of ALL of you together? 

 

I am SO bad about taking pics of the kids...but NOT of me (or "us" before!).  Looking at old photos of my brother, sister, me, and my parents, I realized it was the same way then.  It made me sad that I didn't get to see my parents (especially my mom) "age" with us.  All I have are the memories.  I am going to start taking FAMILY pictures MUCH more often!  If nothing else, I own a FANTASTIC camera...and I need to use it on ME, too!

We never take professional family pictures.  We'll try and get family shots when everyone is gathered for a celebration--when everyone is looking their best.

My mom is an avid photographer, so she takes our family pictures any time we are all together for special events, mostly Christmas, sometimes Easter.  We have not gone in for professional family pictures ever.

I try to get a family photo at least once a year, either professional or other.  Also try to get just the children once or twice a year.  Now that ds is graduating college this may be harder to do, but I hope not.

The last family pic we had done professionally was 10 years ago! My kids have had several Christmas pics done at Sears or JC Penneys though.

We've never done one. I do have a lot of us all together but they're casual shots I've done with a timer or my Mom has taken of us .

I'm great about getting the kids' pictures done a few times a year, but horrible of getting pictures of me included!
