Do you take books with you on vacation?

Always!!!  That's what vacations are for:  sitting back, relaxing and reading!

Yep. To read in the car and at the beach, etc. My kids take TONS with them, but they read much faster than I do.

Yes...There is nothing better than sitting on the beach or by the pool with a big drink and a good book!

Yes!  I'm a librarian, DH is a librarian, and my 9-year-old DS is a huge reader.  We take a large box of books with us when we go on our summer trip to visit my family in KS (we're in WI) for a week or so.  It should be fun when my kindergartener starts reading more on his own & wants to bring his own chapter books, too!  This is when I think a Kindle would be really nice!

Yes, but I never read them!

I have in the past. Now I guess I would take my Kindle Fire & read books off that.

Almost always!

I always have my current book that I'm reading with me.  I'm never 'not' reading a book.  And yes sometimes I do bring library books on vacation too.  Never had a problem, I take care of them like they were my own - actually better.
