What frugal thing have you STOPPED doing?

I used to rinse out the kids snack bags or freezer bags we used for pancakes (you know make a big batch on Sunday, freeze them for the week?) and re-use them. Yeah, I've been slacking and just throwing them out....wasteful!

The other thing I stopped doing that I need to start again is tracking my spending. It's not really a 'frugal' thing to do (well sort of, what do you think?) , but it does help me control my spending so I think it fits into this post redface.gif I need to do it again!

making things from scratch, like I used to do in India.

We are eating out way too often after almost stopping altogether.  This mama is TIRED at night, and I have gotten lazy.  I need to get out the menu planning again, get back to only buying groceries once a week, not daily, and stay IN once I get home at night!

Combining errands when I go out.  I know that there are places I need to go that are closer to my house than to work, but I don't want to waste the time after work going there.  So I go on my lunch hour and waste gas.

I've been using more baggies instead of containers.  Packing three lunches makes a lot of dishes.

I'm guilty of this too.  I haven't made any homemade laundry detergent lately.

I would consider as being "frugal" with your limited time.

I absolutely think it's a frugal thing and something I need to start getting back on board with as well. I kind of let a lot of the household things fall apart when I lost the baby, need to just get a system back up. Schedules, finances, to-do's, etc. seem to flow better and stay in check with a routine.

We eat out more than we should.

We waste a lot of food, by letting it get old or out of date.

I stopped hanging out all of my clothes in the summer a long time ago.

Until last weekend I had stopped air drying my clothes until they were mostly dry and then only using the dryer for the last little bit to make them soft and wrinkle free.  I hadn't done it in months until last weekend.
