spring cleaning challenge

Join us in April for a "Task-a-Day" spring cleaning challenge!  By committing to just cleaning project per day, we hope to make spring cleaning just a little less overwhelming.  Feel free to change up the list and clean whatever is necessary in your own world.

Are you in?  Reply below if you are with one of your own cleaning tips (a photo is a plus).  We will select one participant to win a cleaning pack from P&G (similar to the one pictured below).

Be sure to pin this to Pinterest to get your friends to join us!  Need a Pinterest invite?  Visit our RAK forum!

I'm in! My latest cleaning product I've found (and LOVE) is simply vinegar & blue dawn dish soap (or walmart version is fine too!) Mix 2 parts vinegar to 1 part soap, heat the vinegar briefly for the soap to fully dissolve into. Add a few drops of essential oil if desired and put into a spray bottle. This works great as a stain remover on clothes (think newborn baby poop & spit up stains that were set and they came out using only this) as well as a an overall cleaning agent on everything! This worked better on soap scum in my tub than scrubbing bubbles!!!

I'm in!!! I have fallen in love with homemade cleaners....vinegar and water for basic cleaning, borax, washing soda and unsweetened lemonade for the dishwasher! I like being all natural for my 3 beautiful girls!

Why is there cough syrup in the picture with the Cascade and the Swiffer?  Are you telling us we'll need the cough syrup because we'll be coughing so much from the dust we stir up? ROTF.gif

That's what the P&G prize pack contains.  Good idea to clean out expired medicines, too!

My tip....use newspaper to clean mirrors and windows instead of paper towels.
