Costco Pharmacy now offering Pet Prescriptions

I just read that you can now get your pet's medications through Costco's pharmacy. Has anyone done this?

I'm interested in comparing their price for my dog's Heartworm prevention medication with the online store I usually buy from.

I already buy our pets' foods, cat litter, dog beds, flea & tick treatments (Frontline), and wild birdseed at Costco.  The quality and savings are much better than anything else I can get in my area.

You can simply call their pharmacy and ask them.  I did that for Dh's cholesterol prescription.  We aren't members, but nonmembers can fill prescriptions there.  They were very nice about telling me how much it would be.

I saw that & called Costco the other day. I have to call again because Clark is on Atopica, and it costs us $90/month. They quoted me $28 or so. However, they quoted me the 10 mg price, and when I double checked Clark's meds, he is on 50 mg.  I asked also about Prazosin, Flagyl and Prednisolone, which they are also on, but they didn't offer them in the correct dosages I need for my cats. The other meds they are on I get from Target or CVS pharmacy very cheaply.

My vet asked me to see if I could get a full list of all the pet meds they carry as they always try to refer folks to where they can get meds cheaper.

You can compare Costco medication prices on-line. Love it!

Some of the meds my pets take are not listed online, but are available, so I still have to call.
