My Crackled Hard-Boiled Easter Eggs and Centerpiece (Photos)

This Easter egg project was SO easy.  After you've hard-boiled your eggs, crack the shell without peeling it.  Drop each egg into a sandwich-sized plastic bag, and squirt a couple drops of food coloring on it.  Make sure it's completely covered.  Add a few drops of vinegar (it will set the color).  Leave the eggs in the bags for about half an hour.  Peel carefully, but keep the shells!  They are very pretty and can be used later.  You can serve these eggs as-is, or make them into deviled eggs.

I just made them into deviled eggs. They're pretty!  I forgot to mention that I used the McCormick NEON food coloring for the bright colors.

I love those! I love the neon colors. Someone gave those to us in India, and I bought another box when we came home I loved them so much.

Oh, wow I love those!  I saw a blog with a cracked egg that used a spice mixture, but these are way prettier!
