I am getting old.

I went and had my fingerprints taken today, I do it every three years for my foster care license, and the woman said my fingerprints are starting to wear down! A sign of old age. frown.gif Who would ever dream I would lose my fingerprints.

One of my teens responded with, "That's so cool." Ya, I have high hopes for that boy. Lol.

LOL! I strongly suspect I'm much older than you (I'm in my 50's), and, I promise, my fingerprints are still there. You may have dry skin and need to moisturize more.

You know it could be? The three years I worked at the grocery store opening boxes. That was extremely hard on my hands. Always before, I have been finger printed many times, my prints have always been easy to take.

You mean you might have calluses on your fingers? Nope, you either need to moisturize more or drink more water. Unless you have been burning your fingertips regularly or use unusually caustic chemicals, your fingers are fine.

The cop that did mine, a long time ago, said some types of work would eventually wear them down. The woman today said lots of hand washing would wear them down too. Of course, I think she was a bit crazy about germs.
