This is a fantastic idea!  I've got some of those Wal-Mart boxes just sitting around!  I will have to do that!  Thanks for the picture!  What a great looking fridge!

I use these bins (a little larger) in our upright freezer and have them organized by item (chicken, pork, beef, etc.), the door came with multiple shelf/pockets, so we store ice pops and other dessert items there, bread, butter, etc.  The drawers are used for pizzas, snack type stuff.  I keep frozen veggies and fruit in our bin in the fridge/freezer.  I haven't thought about using smaller ones in the fridge-but yours looks great!  I can see how this can keep all those small items better contained!

My organization is a bit different.  I have all my dairy products on one shelf up high (except milk of course).  Then the fruits/veggies are stored...in the fruit and veggie trays.

Where mine differs is that I put my most perishable fruits and veggies, and anything else that needs to be eaten up soon at the very front, in a vertical line.  There might not even be anything behind it, but it I can't see it, I'll forget to use it.  I have been doing this for awhile and I throw out so much less food because of it.

I also go through and clear out my fridge at least once a week and re-organize where stuff should be (like in front where I can see it and use it right away).
