That was my first response, too.  Also, Texas.

I really don't want to go any further south (maybe Atlanta,GA) than we already are, though.

Anything that is considered a city (a town that has distance referred to in 'blocks'? No thank you)

Anyplace that has a tourist season (I live here, and I don't want to deal with slackjawed camera happy people who don't know where they're going).

Anyplace with hippies (For peaceful, free loving people they have a crapload of "don'ts")

Anyplace with an overbearing religious tilt (dry counties anyone? Don't you dare bring up the fact that Jesus drank wine though).

Anyplace with shortages of natural resources (water for example. I don't waste it, but I'll be darned if I live where I need to choose between an odoriffic toiletbowl or odoriffic armpits)

You know when you read about those 100 square mile places with a population of 12? That's my idea of paradise.

ETA: I realize now I didn't really answer the original question lol, more just got off on a "no way in he11 would I live in these places" tangent. I suppose I could visit all of the above though....at least I'd keep myself pretty entertained people watching.

Um ... all the above: New York City, Las Vegas, Paris, London, Key West / Miami (I'd consider living in Tampa, though). I'm pretty sure I'm not going to visit or live in India.

The opposite is true for Texas - I have little desire to visit but I'd live there. I think some places are more living-friendly but completely dull for tourists. Seattle, WA comes to mind. If you can stand the traffic (or avoid it), it's supposed to be a good place to raise children. And it is a complete yawn when it comes to tourism - the Space Needle, Pike's Place, done!

To the love to visit but don't wanna live there list, I'll add:

~ Hawaii

~ Alaska

~ Greece

~ Egypt

~ Israel

~ The Netherlands

~ The south Pacific islands

I'm sure there are more.

There aren't many places I want to visit in South / Central America.

New York City.  Actually, I would want to live there for a short time.  It's on our bucket list to rent an apartment there for a month sometime.
