Do you feel that your home ... - Page 2

When i'm craving change in my life, it usually comes out in the form of something getting painted or remodeled in my house or just reorganizing something.

No its never the case with me. I like my house very systematic with everything at its place but yes I do change the interiors in gaps of time.

Yeah, I think so.  It reflects my personal style and you can tell what kind of week I'm having...if its a slow one everything is in its place and clean.  If its incredibly busy I'll notice clutter piles and dust bunnies popping up everywhere.

well considering I am so embarrased on how disorganised and gross my house is, I honestly feel if CPS came they would take my kids away.

Ihave been Sick for most of this preg so nothing other than laundry is getting clean just lately Ihave been trying to organize like crazy butreally i can only do so much before Ifeel sick and need to sit down. And I will say my house is never perfect its usually much better than it is now (3 kids and busy lifestyle)

so yes i guess I would say it is, ME LAZY

I think to a point my house reflects what is going on.  We are just busy doing other projects like others have said and the house is a mess.  I also have come to the conclusion that it is a waste to spend a whole day cleaning it when it takes the kids 3 minutes to mess it back up.

I seem to be the opposite of many people. The busier we are, the cleaner the house is.

When we have days at home, holidays or sick days, there is always plenty of time to get things done. Plus, since we are home all day, there are lego and block projects in the way of the floor getting swept or vacuumed and kids that want to do crafts or be read to. Since we are not rushed at all, I tend to move slower at getting house chores done. Often I will realize at 8 pm that I never folded the laundry, swept or ran the dishwasher.

When we have busy days with school, activities and play dates, I am on automatic when we get home. I feel the pressure of having been out and about all day and that nothing got done. So, I'll walk in the door, throw the kids in the bath, start dinner, deal with laundry, clean up a bit and sweep without thinking about it. I am much more efficient when I feel a time crunch.
