Well this is a family member though I am pretty sure this was just part of the regular invitation. And, for those of you who do this with your families and it works, that's great for you but honestly it is something I personally have never done and will never do, even with my family. I just cannot imagine the looks on my mom's or my brother's wife's face if I handed them a list of things I wanted/needed for my children. Lol.
Honestly, this birthday party has become a huge problem in my life, I just look forward to the whole thing being over and I hate to say that about any toddler's birthday party. He's a great little guy. I will send a gift but dang, they live nine hours away and she expects us there for a bounce castle and banana splits. I have baby chicks hatching this weekend or early next week. We have the boys and animals. I'm trying not to be a witch about this, it is my DH's sister and he has so little family in his life but it is nine hours away. I have never expected SIL to attend any of my children's birthday parties, nor has she ever attended any. shoot, she never even sent gifts until her kid was born. She just blows everything up out of proportion.
Just a source of frustration for me.
