31 Days of RAKs:  Day Three

It's DAY THREE of the Mommysavers 31 Days of RAKs project.  Are you with us?  Let us know what you did today! Please join our Random Acts of Kindness Facebook page as well.   PIN us on Pinterest so that we can spread the word about this challenge and get other friends to join us!

I am hoping to do a more substantial RAK later on today, but I wanted to post this one first.  This morning my daughter had Guild Piano Auditions in St. Peter (a town about 10 miles away).  I took her out of school for this.  Afterwards, I treated her to a Subway sandwich and a drink.  I dropped the full amount of change I received in the change jar (normally I'd just leave pennies).  It was a tiny gesture, but it reminded me that not all RAKs have to be big to make a difference.

Cost:  $.48

Time:  0 minutes

Running Tally of RAKs

Let someone take my parking space tonight (closer to the fields) when taking DS to soccer practice.

When I collected mail last night, a gal in town had missed a couple stamps on some bills ~ so instead of returning the mail, I just stamped them for her & took care of the cost.

I held the door open at the post office for someone with a ton of packages and let him go ahead of me.  He then turned around and let me go ahead of him!
