31 Days of RAKs: Day Seven

It's DAY Seven of the Mommysavers 31 Days of RAKs project.

Here's what I did today.  I have an old friend who had a birthday.  Normally, I'd just send her a card but today I wanted to go above and beyond how I would normally acknowledge her birthday.  I decided to put together a gift bag of things that would make her happy.  I included:

  • Fingernail polish
  • A magazine
  • Her favorite drinks
  • Chocolate
  • Flip-flops
  • Candy
  • Some pretty flowers

I left them by her doorstep so she'd see them when she got home from work.  Not only will this brighten her day, it made me really happy to do it.

What did YOU do that was kind today?  Are your kids noticing your kindness towards others?  Are they participating?  What about your hubby?   Please join our Random Acts of Kindness Facebook page as well - we hope to hit 30 members today.  :)

awesome! I bet she'll love that.

I added the $1 donation to my grocery store bill today. I also offered help to a lady in one of those electric carts, not realizing there was a super-tall guy behind her that she was with.  Then he helped me get something down.  I guess I can count it a RAK that I gave them a good laugh!

You get points for trying!  That is funny though.  :)

Very small:  just smiled at a stranger today.  Looked like he needed it.

That may have seemed small to you, Diane - but I bet it meant a lot to the stranger.
