I have loved this card since the first time I laid eyes on it, so I KNEW we'd have to do a version of it for something...and what better day than Mother's Day?
We did our own version of the card and here is the step by step on how you can too:
First: Trace your munchkins hands ( we decided to trace each hand separately, but you can just trace one and copy it)

Cut our your hand tracings:

Cut out a strip of paper and fold it accordion style (you know, back and forth, back and forth):

I had DS write his entire message out b/c I wanted it to be all him but you can use rub on letters, stickers or even the cricut, whatever your heart desires: We did "I love you" on the front:

And then "this much!" on the accordion folded strip (and yes I counted it and spaced it so that each letter got it's own box....don't judge!) :

and he signed the back and dated it. We're sending it to my Mom for Mother's Day and she is going to LOVE it. She treasures homemade things from the kids and handprints...they'll never be this size again so it means even more!
If you make one- let me know how it turns out! It was fun, cute and literally took 5 minutes!
Here is what inspired me:
A Day in my Life's "I love you this much" card (that link will bring you to her blog, not my pinterest pin, fyi)
