I paid for the person behind me in the drive thru at Starbucks. Its been done to me and this little act can make your day. (-=

A neighbor up the road just lost her husband. I took her a frozen meal I had made up the night before. I sat with her for a while, for moral support while she called friends and family to let them know of his death.

I was at the grocery store and seen this little fella walking around looking rather upset.  I asked him if he was lost, and he shook his head yes.  I asked him if he wanted me to help him find his mom and he said, yes!  We went to the front of the store to customer service and told the cashier he was missing his mom and dad.  I sat with him, trying to keep his mind off of missing his mom and dad,  until his parents came up to the front of the store.  I was so glad he was able to find his Mom and Dad and I was able to help him.

I left a baggie of exact change for a bottle of pop or water taped on the vending machine in a patient area at the hospital I work at.  I didn't even get to see the person I helped out! 

We purchased a book for a child at the school book fair.

I did a "pay it forward" in my local Dunkin Donuts drive-thru 2 weeks ago. I paid the bill for the car behind me! It felt great!

I loaned a bunch of teaching materials to a mommy friend of mine to help her with her preschooler.

After enduring a 1-hour "waiting room" visit yesterday, I kindly informed the secretaries I had to leave to pick up my two-and-a-half year old at day care.  Not one, but TWO individuals overheard my conversation, and they proceeded to "step aside," allowing me the next appointment with the dermatologist--it takes MONTHS to schedule appointments.  I was so thankful and didn't know how to repay THEM, but I'm waiting to pay it forward :)

I found out that ten unplanned, unwanted puppies were going to be taken to the local big box store this weekend to find homes. Instead, I found a rescue group to take the pups, vaccinate them, and find them prescreened homes.
