End of the year field trips?

Does your school do them?

It is that time of the year at the k-6 school I work at! We do some doozies every year.
K-2 this year is going to the Children's theater to see Pipi Longstocking
3 goes to a zoo and an overnight at the Science Museum
4 does a 3 day 2 night outdoor adventure at a camp
5 does the state capital and overnight at the aquarium at MOA
6 does 3 day, 2 night trip to Wolf Ridge Environmentl Learning center

Dang, I wish my school did these things when I was growing up!

Very nice field trips!

Poor dd doesn't get to go on cool field trips.  The best one so far was to the Museum of Natural History.  The rest have been around town.  Of course the kids still enjoy them. This year they went to a local farm (not exciting for kids that live in a rural area),  911 call center and board of education planetarium.

4th, 5th and 6th are going to the State Capital for a day, and 6th grade is going to Boston for a couple of days.

Dd will be returning from her class trip today.  They spent a few days at a nature science camp.

DD went to Myrtle Beach overnight 2 weeks ago. They start taking overnight trips in our school in 6th grade and they just get bigger (and more expensive) as the kids get older!

DD is feeling gypped. She goes to a school that is only 4th and 5th graders. The 5th graders got to go to Space Camp in another state which left no money for the 4th graders to have any field trip at all.

They don't do big trips.  They've been going to the movies.  Today one of them is going to a big area park all day.  The other two boys are going next week.
