31 Days of RAKs: Day Eleven

Today I did two things, and hopefully made up for my RAK fails the other day.  :)  My daughter and I went back to the Humane Society and walked a dog, Roo (pictured below), who is up for adoption at BENCHs.  What a nice dog!  It was great to get some exercise, talk to my dd, and do something nice at the same time.  Plus, we've been really missing out on that "canine connection" since our dog passed away last year.

I also stopped at a lemonade/cookie stand and bought four cookies at $.50 each.

Did you do anything above and beyond your "normal" kindness today?

I took a friend's daughter overnight so her & her husband could have a "date" night.   She was really excited about that!

I met up with my mom to give her something I was working on for her otherwise she would have had to wait until next week, and it was something for my nieces to use in the car on their way up to the cabin.

We spent all the 11th in the car, but I have a great one for this day! My church is doing a year-long project to make hats to donate to the NICU, and I crocheted three of them.  Hopefully I'll get more on our drive back, but I think 3 is my limit before my eyes start hurting.
