My $.25 Thrift Store Vases and Baskets: Before and After

I got this entire box of vases, plates, and baskets for around $3.  Most everything was only $.25 each.

Armed with a couple cans of spray paint, I went to work.  I did the baskets in off-white, and the vases in a sunny yellow.  I plan on using them in my 31 Days of RAKs project.  I'll deliver cookies/treats in the baskets, and bring flowers to some special neighbors/friends in the vases

Kim,  That's a great idea.....plus I love those vases!   HOW cute!    I think maybe i'll do some.  WHat kind of spray paint works best on glass vases?

I never even thought of painting those vases - what a great idea.  Any specific kind of paint for them?

I just used spray paint (Krylon).  There's a trick to it, though.  You have to spray very lightly so it doesn't run.  Don't do a second coat until it's thoroughly dried otherwise the first coat will crackle.
