We are excited to announce our latest giveaway, the "Mommy Me-Time" contest!  One of our newest sponsors, Dealery, is offering a $50 Amazon gift card to one lucky Mommysavers member who tells us, "What do you do for 'me-time' on a budget?"

If you love deals but hate all the emails, then you’ll love Dealery.  Dealery aggregates all the daily deal sites and brings them together in one place. They’re in over 200 cities across the US & Canada, so your city is likely listed.  If not, you can always check out the National deals.

Here's how to enter:
1) Tell us about your favorite frugal "me-time" activity as a reply to this post.
2) Head over to dealery.com/emailsignup and enter your email address.

Both steps must be completed for a chance to win.  Get ready to hear about some of the awesome deals in your neighborhood!   The contest will run until May 21st, and we'll announce the winners on May 26th.

Please read the terms and conditions here.

Good luck!

My favorite me-time frugal activity is to read. I check out books for free from the library. I download books for free from the library onto my ereader. At work in the break room coworkers bring books they are done reading and others can take home.

My favorite frugal me-time activity is to go for a walk or on a hike. We're new to the area so I'm still exploring and there is no better way than to do it on foot. I even take my car's GPS with me. I park the car, mark my location on the GPS and switch it to battery power. I slip it into my pocket or backpack and start walking. When I want to get back to the the car, I just have the GPS guide me.

My favorite "Me Time" activity is to take a long bubble bath.  I buy Suave shampoo instead of expensive bubble bath.  There are quite a few fragrances that I love.

My favorite 'Me-Time' activity is to go for a run.  I can take 10 minutes out of any busy day and give myself some stress free time to myself.  Just step out the door and go.  ~Nancy

You can "buy" Kindle books for FREE on Amazon, there are new books that are marked down for about 24-48, almost every day of the week.  I check those out, read through them and the reviews and quickly snag the ones that sound interesting.  I save TONS of money by doing that.

Also, when I want a really great treat, I buy strawberries when they are on sale and some dipping chocolate.  You can make like 1 doz and a half for like $5, WAY cheaper than those fancy places that dip them for you.  Plus I love chocolate dipped fruit because it's just as yummy as those gourmet chocolates but since it's actually fruit, it's healthier and there is a lot less guilt involved.

My budget friendly "me time" is my crafts. I get the supplies when they are on sale then when I get a few free minutes or hours I will work on them..

I enjoy taking a home-packed lunch to the park on my lunch break.  I turn my hour into "me time" where I have no distractions or interruptions.  Sometimes I'll bring a book to read or sometimes I'll just sit and watch the people in the park.

My favorite "Me time" is taking my Nook and heading to Barnes and Noble to sit in the cafe and read! So peaceful!!
