My favorite frugal 'me time' is to paint my nails and then curl up with a gossip magazine while they dry. If I'm going all out, maybe I'll even color my hair that night too (I have been doing it at home for years now!). smile.gif

My favorite frugal me time activity is downloading free books (via mommysavers) to my kindle and reading the afternoon away! Its like watching a movie for me and I get so into it, it's hard for me to stop and actually get something done!

I love to go to the library and read in a quiet corner. It's free and almost always quiet.

My favorite "me time" is to baking.....I have loved baking since I was a child, and as a mom of 7, I love having "baked goods" from scratch in my freezer. Whether it Is cinnamon rolls, loaves of breads, batches of dinner rolls, or dozen of cookies, the stress is released as the smells whirl through ny house and as my counter top is full of items for my freezer. I also love to give these baked items to family, friends, and our neighbors.

My favorite me time activity to do that is frugal is make plate of cheese and crackers, aparkling water and cranberry juice, lay a blanket across my lawn and pretend to be at a vineyard somewhere! I usually do this when the tots are sleep. As far as an outing is concerned, I love visiting local artisan events that are usually free, as well as farmers markets. The evening markets have great cheap food. I just grab a shoulde bag, my iPod, and a couple of bucks.

I recently discovered that a local massage chain offers chair massages at $1/ minute in increments of 15 minutes. Wow! Only $15 to reenergize for the day and get my knots worked out! I stopped in with only ten minutes of time the other day and they didn't even charge me! This is my new favorite me time.
