RAK Idea: Donate old towels, blankets and washcloths to the pet shelter

Our Humane Society goes through TONS of them.  I was grateful for the old towels,  blankets and washcloths they sent home for us to use with our foster kittens.  They especially like fleece pieces to cuddle up with.  If you have any old ones, consider donating them to your local pet shelter.

I love this idea! I just cleared out my hall closet and have a pile of sheets I had set aside for our dog, but it is way more than she could use!

This is great! I didn't know what to do with old baby blankets now that my boys have grown out of them.

Thanks for the idea!!

Our animal shelter and vet's office (which is a pet hospital) gets ours, too. But I did want to mention that they asked for no comforters because some dogs, especially puppies smile.gif, chew them up and make a mess of the stuffing!

I was at a garage sale on Saturday and they were doing a bag sale, was $1.50 to fill up a bag.  I got some barbies for DD which barely filled the bag, and didn't see anything else I really wanted or needed, but she had some fabric that is like the dog bed fabric, so I added a couple to the bag and plan to bring that to the humane society.
