yesterday we paid that same neighbor back by giving her a lunchbag full of fresh garlic from her garden.   DD2 took it over to her & visited with her.  Neighbor loved it!!

I was lamenting about being down to one car right now an wondering what to do on Sat when to of my kids have soccer playoffs in separate towns. Pretty much immediately I had replies from two different people offering to lend me cars! Couldn't believe it!

I am a little bit panicky right now over my ex not having a job.  He missed one support payment already...and has another due today that will be missed.  Add to it that I had to pick up insurance for the kids.  OMG.  So...I was talking to my co-workers at lunch about it all.  I am OKAY right now..and I made sure that was known....but this sweet lady came in this morning with two packages of sliced ham that she had found on sale last night at the grocery store.  She thought my kids might enjoy it.  How blessed am I to be surrounded by such people?  :)

Today I was at Aldis with my quarter in hand and an elderly gentleman told me to put it in my pocket and gave me his buggy. When I came out I went to give the buggy to an elderly woman who tried to give me her quarter. I told her someone had given me the buggy and it wasn't even my quarter in it. She took the buggy and said she would be sure to do the same when she was done. "have to pass on the kindness and keep it going" she said. :) Then at Walmart the cashier found something she could price match for me to lower my bill so I owuldn't have to use my debit card. Last night the childrens pastors wife brought DD home from church. They were late bringing her home (I knew who she was with so I didn't care) so they walked her all the way to the door to be sure she got in. THen tahe childrens pastor called to apologize for how late they were. I appreciate the kindness and concern of both of them!
