Do their school year activities ...

Do their school year activities continue during the summer?

 

DD does Girl Scouts and piano.  Girl Scouts we fold up after Memorial Day Weekend, walking in our local parade is our last event, though kids are invited to a couple events.  And piano, she will continue through June and July but we will take August off since we will spend a large part of that time being out of town.

 

DS has dance and it ends Father's Day weekend.

my older girls are in gymnastics year round.

that is about it tho. dd2 stopped doing GS this past year since her troop leader flaked out (even with me and others saying we would take over helping as long as she could do the training since that was the only part that was hard for us to do.) dd1 I think this was her last year since she is so active in Gymnastics and church and would still like to see her Best friends who are not in GS tho she loves her leader so much (awesome leader and friend , she is the reason dd has stayed in this long)

Cub scouts are done, there are less activities at church, but soccer goes through most of the summer and a bunch of new things start or summer.

Bible quiz ends next weekend with the regional competition. Tutoring is on vacation til mid June. Torch club continues and I am not sure about newspaper club. Those move to daytime though rather than after school.
