Has anyone used Washi Tape?

I bought some in India for Maggie to play with, but we just barely got it out. I pulled off pieces and Dalton snipped it with his scissors and made a picture. So I wouldn't say I used any washi tape for crafting, but he enjoyed it.

 

Has anyone else ever tried this?

I've never played with it. I've never seen it available here. Looks like fun, though. It would be perfect for wrapping gifts.

I had to look up what it was haha

 

 

It's cute, but isn't something I could really justify buying. I'm surprised by how much it costs.

I think it looks interesting but I have never seen it around here...I also haven't looked very hard b/c I've heard it can get very pricey, but with a coupon or sale I could probably justify it wink.gif

I've never used it, but I did see on another board that Target sells it.  They say it's called "printed paper tape" but works and feels like Washi tape.  Sells for $4.00 for a 4 pack. Here's a picture that was posted of what they carry.

Interesting. I am not sure what I would do with it, so I have to resist the urge to buy it. LOL!

I had a "duh moment" the other day ...... scrapbook paper and double stick tape

 

Lord knows I've got a house full of that stuff already lol   DIY Washi tape

eta: or fabric, ribbon, etc.   Oh....ribbon tape!
