Well, it is cold here today but not rainy and my kids are still in school BUT I would take them bowling(we have free bowling) or to the library.

Let them do there own thing. Children's museum is free for us, go outside and play  rain really doesn't stop us. Art projects she is all about those.

It's very foggy here in the summer, so we have a lot of cold, wet days.

We still play outside, we don't have a problem with wet and muddy. If it's really raining, there is cheap daytime bowling for kids nearby ($5 for a game with shoes). They can also play in the garage, there's a small enclosed trampoline, small basketball hoop, easel for painting and a chalkboard, large cardboard castle blocks and foam swords for duels. We'll go the library that day, and if we're really desperate, we can go to the nearby mall to see the turtles and fish in the center pond and get frozen yogurt.

I should make a rainy day list.  I've been working on a summer binder with ideas of things to do and the summer reading/math sheets the school sent home.

If is not storming, they go out and play with umbrellas and water toys.

Library

Skating

Computer time - I will have them do educational games then let them play fun games

Wii

Board games

Baking (I want to make a recipe book with kid-friendly ideas)

Scrapbooking.  I bought a binder, sheet protectors, card stock paper and sticks for each of them.  They are going to make scrapbooks for their school year.
