Good for you. If more people called her out on her rude behavior, maybe she would get the hint and keep her nasty comments to herself.

She has always been the type if person, who can dish it out, but then if you throw something back at her, she is "poor pitful me, getting picked on for no reason".

 

I go to church with another cousins mil. She came over after church and said "Ruthie, next time you are going to a family picnic, please take me along".LOl

 

I told her, I probably won't be invitied to any more.

You have said what I think hundreds of people wanted to say.  You spoke the truth, and sometimes you just have to do that to get someone's attention.  Please don't feel bad.  Maybe in a way you will help her change her ways and look into herself and see why no one likes her.  You probably did her the biggest favor.

I don't feel bad at all about what I said.

 

I just wondered if anyone else would have said anything.

 

And the funny thing about the whole thing, is that my mom told me that she was glad, I put Margie in her place. And Margie's mother is my mom's sister!!!
