If you had to go on Food Stamps, or go on assistance

Would you still make it a priority to coupon??

Can you still use coupons if you use food stamps?

You can, and I would.

It would be a big priority to be frugal, to get the most for my money. I also would still buy the healthiest stuff for my family and not give in to what people should and should not buy.  I would also shop where ever I got the best stuff for my money, if it meant Whole Foods or Trader Joes for certain items and Walmart for others that is exactly what I would do.

I would still be frugal. My dd gets food stamps and she shops at Aldi because it goes a lot further

I think if you qualified for assistance that would be the time to be more frugal.  I would still shop where I got the best prices and use coupons if I were still allowed.

Yes of course I would, the cashiers seem to appreciate it more LOL

I would be more diligent to use the coupons to make it go further,

I wouldn't mess with it. Coupons don't generally save me money now. I would use the same few I do now. I can feed my family of 5 on about $300 a month and doubt I could get that down any more.  I get WIC for the 2 little kids and I have tried to use coupons, which are allowed. Cashiers always screw it up and it takes twice as long because nobody does that. Most times the mgr just gives me my coupons back and process my order without them. Annoys me.

Yes, I definitely would continue to coupon. Assistance or not.

I would probably make it a priority to either use more coupons or shop at Aldi.
