  • Sign up for their mailing list to be notified of sales.

  • Shop during Gymbucks earning and redemption periods (4-6 times per year).  With each $50 spend, you will earn a voucher "Gymbucks" good for $25 off a $50 future purchase during designated Gymbucks redemption periods.  Be careful about how you think about this.  It's actually a 25% savings, not a 50% savings since it requires you to spend $100 altogether.  Your receipts must be attached to your Gymbucks in order to use them.

  • The Gymboree Rewards credit card saves an additional 5% on your purchase.  ONLY use this if you're responsible with credit and pay your bills in full each month.

  • Even better, is Friends and Family (30% off).  I like this offer even better because you don't have to return to the store to take advantage of it.

  • I stumbled upon this tip by chance.  I was looking for summer clothing in the winter because we were going to my parents' house in Florida.  I asked if they had any shorts and tees in the back. Sure enough they did, all on rock-bottom clearance!  Some clearance merchandise is kept in the back room and only pulled out for sidewalk sales.  You have to ask if you can see it.

  • Hit the clearance racks, and combine those deals with the savings tips mentioned above.  Pairing all these offers can result in some HOT deals!

Most of the time you can combine the 20% off coupon that is in the Parents and Family Fun Magazines for even bigger savings. Some restrictions apply. I don't go into the store without a 20% off coupon in hand.

Yes, and sometimes you can get those magazines for FREE.  RIght now there is a free Family Fun Magazine Offer.

My biggest money saving tip for Gymboree is to combine the clearance sales and coupons, but also to look for sizes ahead. The larger sizes (10 & 12) have the most clearance items with the biggest discounts. By the time most kids get to that size clothing, Gymboree is too babyish for them. My daughter is tall for her age, so I have been able to get clothes in those sizes for her for dirt cheap. Leggings for $1-2, jeans and cords for $3, etc. I may not be able to get a whole coordinated set, but you can't beat those prices. Don't forget the bins and rack right in front of and behind the registers! This is where the lowest priced merchandise is located.

I dont live close to a store and was wondering if anyone knows when they have their clearance sales? I love gymboree clothes for my little boy but they are way too expensive for me at full price

They are actually having one right now. The whole store is $13.99 or cheaper - including new styles! It's a great time to shop as you can also earn Gymbucks right now!

A tip for shopping Gymboree would be to shop the online store too. With your cart always right there, you can see exactly how much your total is going to be when trying to earn Gymbucks. I've changed out my cart a handful of times to make it come out $50.24 instead of $62.99. That way, I'm spending almost the exact amount I need to get Gymbucks.

I also have the credit card. It's great! For every $1,000 charged on it, you get a $10 gift card in the mail. It's not much, but we tend to put a lot on our cards (DH has Cabela's - I have Gymboree) to get points, so it's been worth it.
