Container Garden, ever had one?

This list amazed me. We are currently growing at least 15 of these items in our container garden.

 

Has anybody had an success with a container garden?

 

Why did you chose to do a container garden?

 

So far our fig tree has a few figs on it, we have about 5 squash on one plant and a baby zucchini on one plant. We chose to do a container garden because this is our first garden and we never prepped our soil or had time to make an actual garden.

Nice article.

I do herbs and I've also done tomatoes and peppers.

I spent a long time reading about the fig trees and all the zillion comments. sounds interesting but somewhat intimidating. Let me know how yours turns out.

 I plan on keeping it in the 5 gallon bucket til it is big enough that my dogs won't think it's a chewing stick and try to unearth it! Ha!
