Would you do this to save money?

The local drive in charges per person, not per car.  Do you think it is okay if a few people hid in the car to save money?

If not, would you say something?

NOpe, sure don't. Our drive in switched to this a few years back.

No, I wouldn't since it's dishonest. Plus I wouldn't want to stick someone in a hot trunk scrunched up to save a few bucks. I do have to admit that my girlfriends and I did this one time when we were in college though redface.gif Bad aliadam!

Our local drive ins have charged per person for as long as I can remember. We used to take cars full of kids to the drive in when my kids were younger and we always had to pay for every one of them.

No, we don't have any drive in theaters around here.  But I wouldn't do it anyhow.

the drive in we had here would charge per person but they would have a coupon in the paper for locals $5 per car .. we would take the kids and the RV we had our own snacks and drinks so we take them  I put the younger to sleep and DH would end up sleeping with them in the rv at home.

Nope, As a youngster - our local drive in was close enough to climb on my neigbours garage , hook up the radio and watch from the roof.

We spent many summer evenings on his dads garage. His house was basically accross the field from the drive in.

I would consider that stealing.

The reason I originally posted this is because N was going to do this.  She was driving the group and complaining about how much gas would cost because it was 45 minutes away.  Then she told me some of the kids were going to hide and not pay admission and give her their money for gas.  First of all, you have to understand my dds.  They are forever preaching to me about their beliefs and how they are living good moral lives (and what I hear is--Mom, you need to be more like us  smile.gif  ).  So I pointed out to N that this was stealing and it wasn't right.  She hadn't seen it that way (or so she led me to believe she hadn't seen it that way).  I never found out what they actually do, but I hope my little speech made her feel guilty and they all paid.
