Of course, I could be completely wrong, but there is a strong possibility that this is the plane that went missing from the base my dad was stationed at when I was a teenager. I actually babysat for one of the men and his wife several times before this. I know that the plane wasn't found and remember how sad it was for her to be so far away from family, just waiting on word...and how eventually she and the kids packed up and moved home. I remember exactly what class I was in and who I was talking to when they came in and told us. :(
