Here's a tip for getting the baseball pants white again (thanks to one of my Facebook friends):  I use 1 cup powder cascade and one cup liquid bleach and 1 gallon of water. Mix together and let soak and regular wash. Be careful it doesn't mix with color clothing. Works great with any white clothes.

I do salt and lemon and scrub out stains, and then just launder with my white towels (hot water and bleach). I don't know whose bright idea it was to outfit the football team in white pants lol

My mom presoaks them in oxyclean and then adds some oxy to her regular detergent and they are white as can be. The biggest change I ever saw was my brothers white underarmour shirt he wore for a rain soaked football game. It was so brown that even after a 10min rinsing in the old shower the water was still coming out brown. It looked like it was a brown shirt and not that it once was white. When I saw him wear it the next week it was pristine.

I use Fels-Naptha. It's a bar soap in the laundry aisle. I sprinkle a little water on the pants and rub the soap on the stains. I use a gentle brush to scrub it in and then soak in a bucket of water overnight. I also shave a little soap in the water.
