If you grew a garden whatcha? got in there and is it growing?

I did two small raised garden boxes and my tomato's are in bloom my peppers look like they may fail and I have lettuce, carrots and onions on fire!!

How about you if you planted what do you have coming in?

I have so much starting to come in now:

Some big tomatoes and more flowers

One baby roma tomato and lost more flowers

I have one big Hot banana pepper and some small peppers that just started and quite a few flowers

My strawberries had flowers, so should have flowers soon

I had green onions, but they ended up going bad because I didn't know what to do with them (I meant to just thin them and keep some of them in the ground for full onions, but couldn't thin them right, so picked them all)

I have another square with onions that the greens are really tall

I think I have a couple carrots starting

My pumpkin plant is huge

My cucumber plants are getting big

My Rosemary is getting fuller

My dill is getting tall

I have leaves on my Blueberry plants and had a couple flowers, but this is their first year, so don't expect much from them yet

My lettuce plants are doing good

The tomato plants look good and are getting big. Roma's and Big Boys. My hot peppers and bell peppers looking kind of bad so I added some new ones. Normally I have great peppers. My beans, zucchini and onions look great. The squirrels ate all the garlic.

I have peas and chives and cilantro growing. I started with seeds so it is slow going.

We're getting there.

My tomatoes are looking good ~ a few flowers already here and there (Celebrity, Jet Star & Amish Roma).  I also tried a new variety called 4th of July that has a couple tomatoes on it.

My peppers are coming along...my chiles are doing better than my green peppers.

I have parsley which is growing well.  I had chives, but the chickens decided to dust bath in them, so they aren't doing too well.

I planted watermelon which is taking hold ~ and I have a few blooms on my cucumbers.

I was late getting the green beans & peas (seeds) in, so they are just coming up.

My sunflowers bit the dust this year frown.gif  Not really sure why ~ they've always done really well in prior years.

We also planted a couple of blueberry bushes which are having a hard time taking hold.  Not sure if they aren't getting enough water (it's been dry) or if the soil isn't acidic enough.  I need to buy a testing kit when I go into town next.

Everything is going growing like crazy in my boxes.  I have zucchini, seedless watermelon, small sugar pumpkin, tomatoes, peppers and broccoli.

Ok we planted 5 basil plants - doing OK.  Hanging on, but not thriving.  Not sure what is going on.

Tomatoes - 7 plants, all different, some Heirloom, some cherry, some Roma, a little of everything.  Everything has blooms.

Onions - Coming up.  I love to use the onion tops like chives.

Garlic - Coming up.  I also love to use the tops like chives but with a garlic flavor

Carrots - Coming up.

Watermelon - Sprouted

Zuchinni - Sprouted

Beans - Growing, no fruit yet

Peas - Growing, no fruit yet

Peppers - 1 hot pepper has fruit!, 1 cherry pepper has fruit!  The other two will have fruit soon

Winter squash - failed.

Spinach - 2 plants came up, but I planted more seeds and they are just sprouting

Corn - About 7" high

Cucumbers - failed.  I just bought more seeds

I think that is it!!

Oh wait I have a big rosemary that wintered over!!  At first we thought it just was dormant and was going to die but it came back!  I's over a foot tall and bushy!

And our lettuce is doing nicely too!
