When you are at someone else's house, is there anything you will notice if it isn't clean?

My mother made a comment years ago that she will notice if someone hasn't dusted their baseboards.  So whenever she comes over, I make sure to dust the baseboards!

Not particularly. Dust or clutter wouldn't really bother me (much less dusty baseboards!). Probably the only thing I'd notice is if the bathroom was dirty and then I'd have a problem with it. Funny thing is I had a girlfriend who was a horrible housekeeper and she had a brown toilet in her guest bathroom. It always weirded me out to use it because I couldn't tell if it was clean rolleyes.gif Of course I used it anyway, but I like to know the bathroom I'm using is clean. Nothing else really fazes me much.

I don't notice baseboards or ceilings or even dirty walls.

But I do notice a dirty kitchen and bathroom.

Personally unmade beds and dirty clothes in the floor bothers me. But hey as long as it is not my house.

Bathroom.  I'm picky about bathrooms.

Even though my mom notices dusty baseboards, I still do not (even in my own house!).  I think the kitchen and bathroom are important to at least be semi-clean.

The kitchen and the bathroom...especially the bathroom.

Kitchen if I or my kids are going to eat there ever and the bathroom. My brother and sister notice everything. My sister came over yesterday for a walk thru so she can write her trip home off as a business expense. She asked me to do all sorts of stuff before the appraisal tomorrow. Popcorn ceiling collects dust. Sweep behind dog kennel. Pull out washer adn dryer to clean back there. Dust picture frames. Etc. Ugh.

I'm so into food safety that an unclean kitchen weirds me out.

Sinks. I can't stand dirty sinks. How can you clean things in a dirty sink? I even wipe mine down every time I use it so they are dry and don't have water or dirt spots in them or on the surrounding counter. I clean my parents every time I go over lol

I have to agree with kitchens and bathrooms!  Dirty bathrooms just weird me out, I guess!
