Do you freeze bread?

I know growing up we always had a freezer full of bread, but that is just one thing that dh and I never freeze. We always buy fresh bread and buns. We think it tastes soooo much better. Dh is really picky about soft bread also.

I freeze english muffins or fancy breads (zuchinni, banana, cranberry, etc.) Anything that won't be cooked such as sandwich breads or buns and rolls I have fresh. In the summer it is sooo humid that I have to keep those in the fridge or they will mold in a day or two, and even that seems to make them stale really quickly.

I freeze bread.  When the brand and kind we like goes on sale, I'll buy a couple and freeze them.  I don't like to have more than two in the freezer, though.  My mother freezes bread and forgets about it.  Then it gets freezer burn.

Not normally, sometimes I will freeze a pack of english muffins if I find a good sale, they need to be toasted anyway.

I do keep all our bread in the fridge. There is a lot of moisture in the air here so it keeps much longer refrigerated. If it feels too cold and stiff, I just stick it in the microwave for 20 seconds to soften it up.  The only thing that is annoying about this is it takes up almost half of the bottom shelf for just bread since I buy it at costco and will have anywhere from 2-4 loves in there.

I buy two loaves at a time and throw one in the freezer.  It's cheaper in a "club pack" but I hate throwing away moldy bread

We buy bread at Costco in two packs, and freeze one or both if we already have a loaf out.  It is just fine once it is thawed out.

DH loves the oatmeal bread from Aldis. It is really the only thing we go there for so we buy 5-6 loaves at a time and freeze. We go through that generally in 2 weeks time. DH always eats everything on toast so softness doesn't matter.

I keep a couple of loaves in the freezer at all times. I like to keep it there because I only have to pull out half a loaf at a time. We do not go through it very fast. I keep buns in the freezer because we only use half a pack at a time as well. I make garlic bread and freeze in so I can just throw a couple of pieces in the oven when I need it. I have never had a problem with the thawed bread. When it is really humid I put a paper towel in with the thawing bread and it helps with it getting soggy.

I don't mind frozen french bread, but that is about it.

All other bread I like fresh.

we freeze bread and you can't even tell it has been frozen. I buy 2-3 loafs at a time and it takes my family a week to eat one.
