He would be a great sahd! The house would be a mess and we would eat burned grilled cheese sandwiches and stir fry every night, but he would be great with the kid stuff. He's just a great dad all around (and he's good with laundry, too :)

Yes, he would be great with the children as long as I didn't mind a dirty and random dinners that consisted of Oreos for breakfast, Twinkies for lunch, and Nutter Butters for dinner.

No, and he will even admit that he wouldn't be good at it "full time"!

No.  He respsects my job and would not want it.

He's not patient enough to deal with all the day to day goings on.

Dh did it for awhile when he just finished college and we only had two little ones. He loved it!

No.  He gets overwhelmed if I leave him alone with the kids for an hour.

The only thing that would be a problem, is that he totally panics when one of them gets hurt. If there is any blood, he wants to rush them to the emergency room.rolleyes.gif Otherwise, he would be great.

Dh was great with the girls on a short-term basis.  If he had them all day, he would have lost his cool too often.
