Hmmmmm, first I'm hearing of it!  LOL!!  I do know I got beautiful mylar balloon, blown up and tied, plus the weights at Dollar tree.  I paid $24 and got 14 balloons, and table weights.  The tables looked AWESOME.

I live in a small town with 2 locally owned grocery stores and a Dollar General. Walmart is 30 miles away and not always feasible.

So, I do buy quite a few things at Dollar General. Yes, some of the packaging is smaller, but I'm smart enough to figure out if I'm getting a deal or not compared to the local, much more expensive stores. For example, cereal is about $2 cheaper at Dollar General. Chips are often cheaper. Condiments are cheaper.  Bread in our Dollar General is usually the same price as at the grocery stores unless there is a sale. I buy most of our paper products at Dollar General.

I buy spices, condiments, cookies and dried fruit.  They used to have dried apricots for a dollar but I can't find them any more.

Yes.  I am surprised they are still filling up balloons when it is needed for hospitals and research.

I have bought their French Vanilla creamer. Occasionally I have found boxes of Fruit Gushers and Fruit Roll Ups.

I have seen some things at Dollar Tree and am hesitant to buy groceries a lot of times.  I just don't know if it is a good deal.  I have bought a few things though, like cake mixes that are name brand that are after a certain holiday, but still not expired.  The other day I was there and saw a sign for rib-eye steaks, didn't check them out though.
