It is soybeans.  Target just came out with a salted freeze dried package of them.  Not bad!  I wonder how they are FOR me!  LOL

I had it once in a vegetable soup I made.  However, I didn't know you were supposed to shell them first and had the whole pod in the soup.  Let's just say it was a little tough to chew!  Otherwise, had I made it correctly, I think I would have liked it.

I used to munch on them raw at McDs. They were part of the asian salad. I liked them. I also like the salted roasted ones we used to carry at B&N

I make a pasta salad out of them called Rainbows and Butterflies. I use the frozen ones and they are very yummy.

Here is the website with the recipe:

one of my kids loves them and gets them with her mac n cheese at California pizza kitchen when we go there.

Love them.  We buy them frozen or fresh, and serve them with a little salt.  I like them better chilled than hot, but either way, they're good.  I buy them at Costco or Trader Joe's.

We buy them frozen at costco...pop them in the microwave to steam and sprinkle with salt...then you suck the beans out and get a little salt with them
